Hey Dela. Here are some color comps of my moment piece painting. I've decided to go more in a "Triplets of Bellville" style, since I think it willl suit the feel I want better than this work...I'm planning on redoing this piece in pen and ink and watercolor, so give it more warmth and life. I will post the revisions soon. --Lauren

these are nice, but they all look somewhat similar. As bill perkins said in transmission today, try to do it with more attention to different hues, saturations and contrast. If you want to take it further, play with form vs line vs mass as your focal point when you apply color.
