Saro: Camel & Cart in-house

Here is a quick value study of the cart.

Dela,
Here is my camel in-house, I tried to push the shapes on him as much as I can. Let me know if this is working well, any comments are appreciated. Thanks

Saro, this design is beautiful man. The only suggestion i have is that the information gets lost just a little towards the end of the neck. theres alot going on in such a small space. great job though, i really like this design.

Thanks Nigel,
I see what you are saying, I ll try to fix that. My initial idea was that he has heavy things on his neck that is making it bend downward, and I though that gave him some character. thanks for the comment man.

Saro,

I love this drawing. I have to compliment you on the way you have stylized the Camel. I think it is a great improvement from what I saw earlier, and I think comes the closest to the style that was set for the project.

The cart is starting to work, be sure you are looking at reference when you do these. I know a cart this imaginative would not exist to get reference of, but if you use reference in the construction as a foundation then build on top of that with your imagination you have something new and unique that is still familiar to people/audience.

If you were looking at reference bring it in to class and I'll go over it with you and try to explain better what I mean.

Thanks Dela for the comments. I will bring my reference with me to class and if you have any time I'd love to go over what you have pointed out.
